Who This Is For

Built for Senior and Rising Student Affairs Leaders

You've moved beyond managing programs. Now you're navigating presidents, budgets, and institutional politics, often without a roadmap or peers who understand the altitude.

This program was built for exactly that moment. Not a conference. Not a webinar. A sustained cohort experience that develops executive-level thinking.

🎯
New Vice Presidents You've reached the cabinet. Now build the instincts the role demands.
📈
Rising Deans & AVPs You're being asked to think institutionally. Get ahead of the transition before the title arrives.
🧭
Leaders Preparing for What's Next You know where you're headed. Build the frameworks and network to get there.
What's Included

Four Months. One Trusted Cohort.
A Different Kind of Development.

👥

Live Sessions in Your Cohort

Twice-a-month, 90-minute virtual sessions with no more than 10 fellow leaders. Real conversation, never a passive webinar.

🎓

Individualized Executive Coaching

Two private sessions focused entirely on your context and growth. Additional sessions available as add-ons.

🛠️

Executive Tools & Frameworks

Board report templates, budget matrices, crisis checklists. A toolkit you'll use long after the program ends.

📚

Frameworks and Principles

Research and frameworks paired with the realities of missional institutions. Theory that earns its place by being useful.

🔍

Learning through Case Studies

Work through realistic scenarios like budget cuts and campus crises, and bring your own live challenges to the group.

🤝

A Network That Lasts

Each small cohort of peers becomes a professional network you'll carry through your career.

The Experience

How Leaders Grow Here

Twice a month, the cohorts gather for structured, expertly facilitated sessions built for connection and application, never lecture. Between sessions, private executive coaching, supplemental resources, and personal connections turns group insight into individual growth.

The result is leadership competency built the way it actually develops: grounded in ideas, tested against reality, and sharpened in trusted company.

🧭
Grounded in Frameworks Leadership theory and higher education research that sharpen executive thinking.
🔍
Tested in Practice Realistic case studies drawn from the situations executives actually face.
🤝
Sharpened by Peers Structured consultation on the live challenges sitting on your desk.
🎯
Personalized in Coaching Private one-on-one sessions that apply it all to your context and goals.

🏛️

Institutional Leadership

Governance, boards, and executive influence at the cabinet level.

📊

Stewardship

Budgets, enrollment realities, and principled decisions under pressure.

Crisis & Change

Steadiness when the campus is watching, and momentum when it resists.

🌱

People & Culture

Developing leaders and building teams where belonging drives results.

Making the Case

Worth Asking Your Institution to Invest In

Many participants use institutional professional development funds, and the case is easy to make. For less than one national conference, your institution gets a leader who returns every month with sharper thinking and practical tools.

Want help making the ask? Mention it in your application. We're happy to provide language and a one-page summary for your supervisor.

The Value Comparison

National conference (registration, travel, hotel) $2,500+

Guided by Leaders Who've Sat in the Chair

ASI's leadership program is led by Dr. Joshua Arnold and Dr. Ian Slater, co-founders of ASI Campus Partners, drawing on deep VP and cabinet-level experience. Many participants use institutional professional development funds. At $1,950, less than most national conferences once travel is included, the approval conversation is usually short. Want help making the case? Mention it in your application.

We offer a self-pay rate for leaders investing in their own growth, along with a multi-seat discount when an institution enrolls more than one participant. Just let us know your situation and we'll find the right fit.

The program serves new VPs, rising deans and AVPs, and directors preparing for executive roles. If you're wrestling with institutional-level questions, this program meets you there. When in doubt, apply and let's talk.

Because the value lives in the conversation. Ten leaders is small enough for honest dialogue and large enough for diverse perspectives. It's the difference between a cohort and an audience.
